Teacher Funding requests

Funding Requests are awarded to teachers, administrators, and schools. Often times teachers from multiple schools will collaboratively submit a funding request.  Any full-time Maryville City School District teacher or administrator is eligible to submit an application requesting partial or full project funding.  Funding requests are reviewed by committee each month with recommendations made at the upcoming board of directors' meeting.

Math Versa Tiles Kits

Impact: 600 students & 28 teachers

This request is from John Sevier Elementary. This is a school request, and kits would be purchased for all grade levels (K-3) – seven per grade level, for a total of 28 kits. These kits allow a screen-free way for teachers to differentiate instruction for the wide range of skill levels in math, can be used in small groups or as independent work, and training would be provided by teachers already familiar with them to teachers using them for the first time. They have already used Versa Tiles in their summer program and the teachers loved them.

Any full-time teacher or administrator is eligible to submit an application requesting partial or full project funding. The Funding Request Document can be downloaded below:

2024/2025 Accepting Submissions Anytime


Funding requests are reviewed by committee each month with recommendations made at the upcoming board of directors' meeting. Requests approved up to $2,000 will be disbursed monthly. ​All other approved requests will be funded on a quarterly basis.
